Locksley Runs Away

Yep. It is true. the irascible raccoon known as Locksley took off several days ago while we were on a walk with a friend. He was behind me one second... then poof! Gone! Of course I was worried. He is my friend after all, and too small to be noticed by cars, small enough to be picked up by dogs, and cute enough to be carried away by children. And what was he doing while I was backtracking through four miles in the blazing sunshine and heat?? Admiring scenery. For real. Sheesh. What a friend. Not a word mind that he was going to take off, just up and left me and our friend.

Here is where I found him, closer to where we started than to where we ended. Talk about a short attention span.

. Oh well. At least I found him. And I got a new clip soo he is now completely secure. If he gets away this time, it won't be my fault. Silly Raccoon.

Until next time dear readers (i'm hoping there won't be a next time with this kind of adventure...).

Lizzy Is Slacking (By Locksley)

It is about time that there is a new post, and Lizzy has seemed to forgotten all about it, so it is my solemn duty to update you on the goings on around these parts.

Lizzy is remaining very busy with her online store, too busy even to remember me, or our readers. I am doing what I do best, overseeing Lizzy. I make sure everything is of the finest quality and well made, and remind her when it is time for lunch.

Adventures are on their way, so never fear! I have convinced Lizzy to take a small day trip sometime in the near future, and I assume a post will follow, thought you never know about Lizzy. She can be so scatterbrained. Take Monday for example. She completely forgot to give me my lunch, and dinner too, and I had to make an effort to get it for myself.

But that is beside the point. We are going on an adventure, if I have to drag her out kicking and screaming.

So check back soon. I will be here.

Yours,

(but mostly Locksley)

(Note to reader: Locksley is once again exaggerating. I have not forgotten you, and I do not need to be dragged anywhere. I am completely willing to leave on an adventure at anytime. However, what Locksley does not realise because of his extreme laziness [exhibited here] is that it takes time to plan an enjoyable trip. So disregard pretty much 100% of what Locksley is telling you. Peace, Lizzy.)

Ideas

There has not been much to do these last few weeks, and the boring-ness of our lot has caught us coming up with ideas. With the addition to our travelling book collection "1,00 Places To See Before You Die : U.S. and Canada" (another gift from the same incorrigible friend from before)we have come up with the idea that it wouldn't be so bad to tour our own state, starting with day trips, weekends, etc., as a warm-up for us, and something interesting for you!

Also included in this idea is that we will be able to start "Where is Locksley" up, and get it to it's full and fun potential, a picture gallery of our favorite places, and (eventually) a video cast shot by yours truly!

Let the Preparations Begin!

Until then, we are yours,
